DOVER — Celebrate the art, music, food and pageantry of Mardi Gras in a family-friendly way at The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire on Sunday, Feb. 13, from noon to 5 p.m.

The afternoon of fun includes live Cajun music performances by the Fiddling Thomsons, Mardi Gras mask-making, and New Orleans regional foods to sample. Each visitor will receive a strand of colorful Mardi Gras beads to wear and take home. There will also be children’s parades through the museum led by Albert the Costumed Alligator.

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is located at 6 Washington St., in Dover. Mardi Gras activities are free with museum admission. For more information, call 742-2002 or visit childrens-museum.org.
