Canobie hosts fathers for free this Sunday

SALEM, N.H. — Who says there’s no free lunch? Bring Dad to Canobie Lake Park on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20, and he’ll not only get free admission, but also free lunch served from noon to 3 p.m.

And that isn’t all. Dad can even say “hi” to Brian Scalabrine of the Boston Celtics, who will make an appearance from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. Scalabrine will demonstrate his skills at Canobie’s 3 Point Challenge basketball game, new at the park for 2010.
“Our Fathers Day special is quite a popular family event that we try to make better each year,” says Chris Nicoli, marketing and entertainment manager for Canobie Lake Park.
“We were really fortunate to be able to work with Brian Scalabrine. We have a lot of fun planned for the day.”
All fathers accompanied by a paid child admission purchased at the park Sunday will receive the free admission and free lunch special. The offer, however, cannot be combined with any other discount, priced pass or promotion.
In addition, details about a “Have Lunch With Scal” social media promotion will be available prior to the event on Canobie Lake Park’s Web site.
