Animals take the stage at Rochester Opera House

ROCHESTER — An original stage adaptation of “Animal Farm” will be playing on Friday and Saturday, June 4 and 5 at 7 p.m., and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 2, 3 and 4 at 10 a.m. at the Rochester Opera House.
The stage transforms into a barnyard and the audience is asked by the “animals” to sing, chant or play along with the action of the play. Audience members are compelled to ask themselves: “What kind of animal am I?” Would I follow or lead?” “Would I rebel or fall in line?”
Tickets are $16 and $6. The Rochester Opera House is located at 31 Wakefield St., Rochester. For tickets or more information, call 335-1992 or visit www.rochesteroperahouse.com.
