The James Cotton Band takes the stage at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry on Friday, April 2, at 8 p.m.

Cotton has earned a great reputation for his blues harmonica. His band also features Slam Allen and Tom Holland on guitar and vocals, Noel Neal on bass, and Kenny Neal, Jr. on drums.

“My audience always tells me how I’m doing,” Cotton said of his performances. “If I look out there and don’t like what I see, I work harder.”
Tickets are $35.

Over the years Cotton has played with Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter. In 2007, Winter and Cotton recorded “Breakin’ it Up & Breakin’ it Down.”
The Tupelo Music Hall is located at 2 Young Road, Londonderry. For more information call 437-5100 or visit www.tupelohall.com.
