PORTSMOUTH — See a dinosaur brought to life by a scientist/magician at the Music Hall on Wednesday, March 3, at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.

The performance, “Darwin the Dinosaur,” harkens back to the story of the Tin Man in “The Wizard of OZ,” who receives a heart and in doing so learns about compassion and love.
“Darwin the Dinosaur” is a visually evocative performance, featuring a stunning, illuminated black light theatre live on stage.

The show was created by dancers from Twyla Tharp’s Broadway show, “Movin’ Out,” who through the performance discovered their mutual love of theatre and technology.
Using battery-powered electroluminescent wire, the characters glow from within.
The Music Hall is located at 28 Chestnut St., Portsmouth. For more information or tickets, call 433-3100 ext. 11 or visit www.themusichall.org.
