Make an especially sweet date with the family to see “Willy Wonka Junior” at 2 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Feb. 25 and 26, and at the Rochester Opera House.

The audience will join the charismatic, mischievous Willy Wonka in a world of pure imagination as he seeks to find an heir to manage his magical candy factory in this stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

The play features the classic film songs, including “The Candy Man,” “Pure Imagination” and “Oompa Loompa.” Stars of the show are award-winning Director Sharon Asher Arsenault’s students of the Tri-City Christian Academy Youth Theatre.

Tickets to these performances are $8.

The Rochester Opera House is located at 31 Wakefield St., Rochester.
