Lions and  tigers and bears are coming to The Music Hall in Portsmouth at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 17.

They’ll be arriving in the airing of “The Wizard of Oz,” the 1939 classic American fantasy film directed by Victor Fleming and starring Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, and Bert Lahr.

Over the decades, “The Wizard of Oz” has become one of the most influential and well-known films of all time. And Sunday is a great opportunity to allow children to experience it on a big screen in the historical theater at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St., Portsmouth.
