MANCHESTER — “A Christmas Carol” makes for a great family afternoon or evening at the Palace Theater in Manchester from Dec. 4 to 20.

In the classic Dickens tale filled with lively song and dance, Ebenezer Scrooge, known for his penny pinching ways, is visited by three ghosts on a snowy Christmas Eve. These ghostly visits reveal Scrooge’s past, present, and future to him and fill him with newfound hope and joy in the Christmas season.

Performance times at the Palace Theater, 80 Hanover St., are listed on the venue’s Web site. Tickets are $15 to $45 and available online up to 24 hours before the event. For more information, call 603-668-5588 or visit www.palacetheatre.org.
