DOVER — The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire will open its doors for a Free Family Fun Night on Friday, Nov. 6.
The entire museum will be open at no charge from 5:30 to 8 p.m., offering a special after-hours opportunity for busy families to spend quality time together.

The event is sponsored by Citizens Bank. One more Family Fun Night is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. And plans for 2010 Family Fun Nights will be announced by the end of this year.

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is located at 6 Washington St. in Dover and offers two levels of hands-on, custom-created exhibits for children ages 1 to 12.

Children can explore a wide range of subjects, from dinosaurs, music and aeronautics, to world cultures, art and natural history. A special area on the second floor has been designed especially for children under age 4, featuring a large train set, soft toys and puppets to spark imaginative playe.

The museum also features two classrooms for field trips and birthday parties, a snack area, and gift shop.
