Racky Thomas Band brings blues to Strange Brew, Friday, Oct. 30

The band hails from Boston, but plays the blues in the spirit of musicians in the smoky bars of post-war Chicago and the Mississippi Delta. Their self-produced CDs, “Last Of The Big Spenders” and “Troubled All the Time,” each have enjoyed extensive airplay.

Tickets on sale now: Steven Tyler signs on for Concerts for the Cause

CONCORD — Famed Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has signed on to perform “Dream On: An Intimate Evening with Steven Tyler” for Child and Family Services 25th annual Concerts for A Cause.

Tickets go on sale today and are expected to sell quickly. The show is slated for 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. Tyler hails from New Hampshire and this is an exclusive area appearance.
