Tupelo Night of Comedy with George Hamm, Joe Wong & Ryan Gartley.
JOE WONG: As an “all American immigrant,” Joe Wong came a long way from a rosy-eyed new immigrant to a blossoming comedian. His jokes range from ethnic, personal, political, observational to bizarre. It’s not always easy to categorize his humor, but it is always inspired. JoeWongComedy.com
GEORGE HAMM: Comedian George Hamm is well known to Maine audiences as a frequent visitor to Portland’s Comedy Connection. Hamm has performed his comedy routines across the U.S. including the Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Improv in Los Angeles, The Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory in Hollywood and the Laugh Factory in Hawaii. David Hidalgo and Louie Perez of Los Lobos. For over thirty five years, Hidalgo and Perez have been creating songs that have made Los Lobos one of the most innovative and critically acclaimed groups in the world. Rolling Stone recently wrote: “with the exception of U2, no other band has stayed on top of its game as long as Los Lobos.” In these very special performances, Hidalgo and Perez offer a departure from the larger scale Los Lobos shows and aim focus on the songs and the process of their creation.

James Cotton Band. Cotton has always been known for having one of the best bands in the business. The members are: Slam Allen, guitar, vocals; Tom Holland, guitar, vocals; Noel Neal, bass; Kenny Neal, Jr., drums; and, of course, Superharp, James Cotton. His eyes light up when he talks about his band, “My audience always tells me how I’m doing. If I look out there and don’t like what I see, I work harder.” His audiences are still on their feet, they enjoy themselves as much as he does, and there are still standing ovations night after night. You will have a memorable evening with an international treasure and a true Living Legend of the Blues.
