OGUNQUIT, Maine - “Fairy Houses: The Musical” returns to the Ogunquit Playhouse stage on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19.

Based on the bestselling children’s book, “Fairy Houses,” by Portsmouth author Tracy Kane, this enchanting musical production reveals how nature inspires children’s imaginations and captures their hearts. The story encourages children to go outside to cherish and respect wildlife and their habitats, and to create their own fairy houses.

This performance is held in collaboration with a special Fairy Houses weekend organized by Playhouse Theatre Guild, featuring Fairy House Village tours on the Playhouse grounds all weekend long. This annual event attracts hundreds of people of all ages to the Playhouse to walk through the woods on the 27-acre campus and enjoy the many Fairy Houses built by local floral designers and artisans. Visitors are encouraged to build their own Fairy Houses along the path.

The Ogunquit Playhouse is located at 10 Main St., Ogunquit, Maine. For ticket information, call 207-646-5511, or check online at www.ogunquitplayhouse.org.
